Welcome!
My name is Allison Wonders and I am a Speaker Coach & Certified Life Coach educated at Coach Training Alliance where I learned the skillful art of asking questions that dig deep into the well of answers that are already inside of you. For the first twenty years of my career I worked with children, it was in this field that I created a character called Ladida (Laa Dee Dah) . I traveled throughout the southeast performing live shows for children utilizing puppetry and storytelling to educate and entertain. I wrote and produced my own television series, Ladida's Room, in North Georgia. Then In 2003, I turned 40 and what I thought was a forever career working with kids began to fade into the background as I found myself wanting to do something different. I had always had a knack for helping people gain clarity and Life Coaching was new on the horizon and I thought it was perfect for me. Years later, My friend turned me on to TED and TEDx and I was hooked. I was given an opportunity to coach some speakers for a TEDx event and I fell in love with the process of Speaker Coaching. It was my 'AHA' moment where all the pieces of my life came together and I finally knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. A Speaker Coach. It was the perfect combination of all my skills acting, writing, coaching, and storytelling. I currently am a Speaker Coach for several TEDx events including TEDxPeachtree and TEDxCincinnati. I am also an activist. My SHero is Eve Ensler who wrote the Vagina Monologues. Her mission is to end violence against women & girls worldwide. In 2013, based on the statistic that 1 out 3 women will be beaten or raped in her lifetime, she started One Billion Rising a worldwide Campaign to end violence against women and girls. I was the Organizer for One Billion Rising Atlanta for several years. Check out what we do and join us! http://www.onebillionrisingatlanta.net/ On May 19, 2014, I turned 50! For my birthday I produced my own One Woman Comedy Show called Allison Wonders and her Cast of Characters to an audience of beloved friends and family. I have since performed 2 additional shows . I am currently beginning to do Stand UP Comedy. Challenging myself to do what I love and that is to be on stage and make people laugh. I am excited about my work, my journey and the opportunity to work and meet incredible people. Look forward to connecting with YOU! |
